REGISTRATION FESTIVAL 2010

 Dear Thespian Sponsors:

Here is your 2010 State Festival Registration Packet!  Read it carefully‑‑‑the time you save may be your own!!  All registration materials are available on this web.  You are asked to complete each form by typing in the actual web forms.  Once you have completed the form, you will press the button on the formto print it to your printer.  (In future years you will be able to e-mail these forms but for Festival 2010 we are requiring it to be mailed.)  Once all the forms are completed and printed, you will place it all in an envelope with your payment in full and sendyour entire packet to Florida StateThespians.  The address is:

NEW FOR 2010: DUE TO THE UNPREDICTABLITY OF THE US MAIL, WE ARE NO LONGER USING POSTMARKS AS THE WAY TO DETERMINE DEADLINES FOR RECEIVING YOUR REGISTRATION MATERIALS.  Starting with Festival 2010, you will need to send your registration materials by a carrier that GUARANTEES DELIVERY WITHIN THE REGISTRATION WINDOW.  Likely you will need to use Federal Express, UPS Red Label, or US Postal Express Mail.  Remember, we must RECEIVE your packet with the window of dates.

For 2010, your complete registration packet must be RECEIVED between January 27 and February 3, 2010.  If a registration packet arrives outside this 9 day window, it will be returned to you. 

To complete the forms below you MUST have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat on your computer. This is a FREE program - - click here for the FREE reader.  If your computer at school does not allow you to install programs, you will need to complete this registration on a personal computer.  Once you have Adobe Acrobat installed on your computer, simply click on each document below; type in the blanks; and click the print button.  If you make any mistake you can obviously open a brand new blank copy of the form and begin again.

The following SIX forms are required by every troupe to register:

  1. Payment Form
  2. School Registration Form 
  3. Student Roster 
  4. Signature Form (this form is not completed on-line.  Simply print, complete, sign and return it.)
  5. Mainstage Ticketing Preference Form   (this form is not completed on-line.  Simply print, complete, sign and return it.) 
  6. Heath Form (this form is not to be completed at your computer.  Simply print it out, cut it into its 3 parts, and hand it out to your students.  Finally collect these forms and return them with this mailing.)

The following TWO forms are needed if you wish to register a student for either Performance Individual Events or Technical Theatre Individual Events

  1. Performance Individual Event
  2. Technical Theatre Individual Event

The following ONE form is needed to apply for the College Audition Programfor Juniors or the College Scholarship Program for Seniors.  Be sure and click here for all the rules regarding the scholarship program.

The following THREE documents are guidelines for sponsors, chaperones and students.  They are for your information only.  Nothing in these documents needs to be returned:
