The State Board of Directors met this weekend. Here is a summary of a few of the changes that were made.

Added to the Individual Events, One Act, and Mainstage Rules

"Any violation of the General Rules of Florida State Thespians' Events will be subject to disqualification and/or disciplinary action by the Board of Directors."

Added to the One Act Rules

"All communication regarding a troupe's one act must follow proper channels. At the district level individual concerns should be addressed to the Troupe Director, the Troupe Director may then take them to the District Chairperson. At the state level, only the Troupe Director or the District Chairperson may bring concerns to the State One Act Coordinator."

Added to the One Act Rules

"Participating troupes may not hang, remove, or fly anything associated with a one act being performed from the performance venue's battens during the event."

2011 MAINSTAGE Application is now available.
